Celebrate Band

The Celebrate Band is a collection of musicians who provide music for the weekly contemporary worships in the Celebrate Center.  The band leads the congregation in singing music that responds to the readings of the day, surrounds the themes of the church year, offers expressions of joy and lament, and describes a walk of faith that sends us out to serve our neighbor.

The band is anchored by a core of instrumentalists who play and sing most Sundays:  Dave Hofstad, drums; Mark Law, bass; Denny Gale, guitar; Steve Kuper, guitar and Technical Sound Director; and Kris Wollman, Director of Celebrate Band and Worship.  In addition to this core of musicians, the band includes Janell Mills, keyboard; Will Prines, keyboard; Beth Boyens, vocals; Connie Law, vocals; Dean Poppinga, vocals; Sheila Etrheim, vocals; and Susan Eichacker, vocals.  Also playing with the band as needed are Steve Grimes, guitar; George Gongopolous, drums; Charlie Lopas, bass; and Dick Bartling, drums.
